The National Association for Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (NAAONB) is a Charitable Company limited by guarantee.  It has three objects, which in summary are

• to promote the conservation and enhancement of natural beauty

• to advance the education, understanding and appreciation of the public in relation to the conservation and enhancement natural beauty

• to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of those organisations promoting or representing Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Our mission is to develop a network of ambitious AONB partnerships and Conservation Boards with a strong collective voice, working collaboratively to deliver shared objectives.
