Professor Michael Winter OBE is a director of the Centre for Rural Policy Research at the University of Exeter. He is also a director of the Food Security & Land Research Alliance and chairs the North Devon Biosphere Partnership and the Uplands Alliance. He was a Commissioner of the Commission for Rural Communities from its inception until its demise.
