Rural England Stakeholder – Big Lottery Fund

The Big Lottery Fund receives 40% of the funding raised for good causes from the National Lottery. This equates to more than £600m a year and is used to support the Fund’s mission to make a real difference to communities and the lives of people most in need. Annually the Fund makes more than 12,000 grants across the UK touching the lives of millions of people. The Big Lottery Fund is the largest funder of the voluntary and community sector and it’s new strategic framework is firmly focussed on putting people in the lead.
