The firm was established in 1817 but is very forward looking and proactive in its approach to business. We have widely embraced modern technology and as such our practice is now country wide, thanks to the internet.

The Senior Partner is John Houldsworth who is a past President of the Lancashire branch of the Country Land and Business Association. In 2017, John received the Pride of Ribble Valley award (which is awarded to 1 person only in each year) for services to the community.
